Martin Brogaard Nielsen is a partner and head of IT Risk Assurance & Advisory Services at Grant Thornton Denmark.
He advises companies on IT governance, cyber security and regulatory compliance and is responsible for assurance and audit of service providers ranging from Danish fintech and SaaS companies to larger international tech players and entities in regulated sectors.
With more than 15 years’ experience within GRC and IT audit, built on a background in IT operations and systems development, Martin combines deep technical insight with strong business understanding.
He focuses in particular on ISAE 3402 and ISAE 3000 assurance engagements within GDPR and NIS2, ISO 27001/2, third-party risk management and IT governance as part of overall corporate governance.
As an author, lecturer and member of FSR’s Cyber Security Committee, he contributes to the development of industry standards and helps organisations translate regulation into concrete management actions that can withstand scrutiny from regulators, customers and boards.
