Leadership and governance

Grant Thornton Denmark is partner-led and owned by the firm’s equity partners. The partnership also consists of salaried partners, all of whom contribute actively to the firm’s development and to advising our clients.

As of April 2026, the partnership consists of 54 equity partners, plus 25 salaried partners, all of whom are active within the firm.

Grant Thornton Denmark is part of the multinational platform Grant Thornton Advisors LLC and is also a member of Grant Thornton International – a global network of independent audit and advisory firms

Grant Thornton Denmark is organised into separate business units for assurance services (Grant Thornton Godkendt Revisionspartnerselskab) and advisory and services (Grant Thornton Advisory DK P/S).

The separation of the two firms supports independence, governance and quality. The two firms operate under the same brand and purpose: to be close to those shaping Denmark.

We also have a presence in Greenland through Grønlands Revision, which is part of Grant Thornton Denmark.

Boards

Grant Thornton Denmark and Grønlands Revision have separate boards for the assurance business and the advisory and service business respectively.

This structure supports independence, governance and quality across the organisation and ensures clear frameworks for management, accountability and decision-making processes.
