Simon Mørner Nielsen is a state-authorised public accountant and partner at Grant Thornton. He has more than 15 years’ experience in audit and advisory and joined Grant Thornton in 2015 after several years with international audit firms.
Simon has extensive experience with Danish owner-managed companies as well as subsidiaries of international groups and works with both IFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act (Danish GAAP).
He advises on reorganisations, including mergers and demergers, and has solid experience with M&A processes, supporting clients with financial due diligence, deal structuring and post‑merger integration matters. His focus is on clear conclusions, robust reporting and solutions that can be applied directly in management decision-making.
