Morten Høgh-Petersen is a partner and state authorised public accountant at Grant Thornton Denmark with 25 years’ experience in international audits and IFRS reporting. He has extensive experience in the energy, oil, and gas sector, where he has led group audits and major CAPEX projects for international companies. 

In recent years, Morten has specialised in R&D-intensive and technology-driven businesses and now primarily works with tech start-ups and scale-ups. He is an experienced adviser on audit, complex revenue recognition, IFRS and Danish GAAP, R&D tax matters, as well as ESG and CSRD-related issues. 

Morten has broad experience with international reporting and compliance requirements, including IFRS, PCAOB and SOX. Alongside his client work, he teaches as an external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School and draws on leadership experience as a reserve officer in the Danish Armed Forces.
