Michael Winther Rasmussen is a State Authorised Public Accountant, co-founding Partner and Chair of the Board of Grant Thornton Denmark.

He has more than 25 years of experience as a financial and strategic adviser to executive teams and owners of medium-sized and larger companies – both in Denmark and internationally.

Michael has extensive insight into a wide range of sectors, and he works broadly with strategy, value creation, and business development and optimisation.

As Partner and Chair of the Board at Grant Thornton, Michael plays a central internal role in developing Grant Thornton Denmark.
