Lisbeth Hansen is a state-authorised public accountant with many years’ experience in audit and advisory services for small and medium-sized enterprises. She has worked both in client-facing roles and as an external quality reviewer for the Danish Business Authority, reviewing smaller audit firms.
Since 2021, Lisbeth has been part of Grant Thornton Denmark’s technical department, working with quality management, assurance, compliance, risk and independence. She focuses on external and internal quality control at firm level, including the implementation and maintenance of the firm’s quality management system under ISQM 1, and is responsible for the firm’s quality manual. She also acts as a technical adviser to client-facing auditors on assurance and financial reporting matters.
Lisbeth’s technical focus areas include quality management, ISQM 1 and firm-level quality control, external and internal quality reviews and compliance, as well as technical support on assurance engagements and financial reporting, audit and other assurance engagements for SMEs, and matters relating to risk and independence.
