Lars Brandt is Tax Director and head of Grant Thornton’s M&A tax and corporate tax team. He has more than 15 years’ experience in tax due diligence, tax structuring and review of tax models for both corporate investors and private equity funds.
Lars specialises in domestic and international corporate tax and M&A tax, advising companies on day-to-day corporate tax matters, tax disputes and tax planning, as well as transaction structuring before and after closing, including negotiation of tax clauses in SPAs.
Before joining Grant Thornton, he spent over 18 years with large international audit firms focusing on M&A tax and corporate tax, and has more than ten years’ experience as in-house tax manager in large international Danish groups with responsibility for corporate tax returns, structuring and tax in the annual report.
