Personal data

Grant Thornton Denmark is responsible for the processing of personal data, which is registered in connection with visits to and use of the services available at www.grantthornton.dk/en/ in accordance with current data protection legislation.

When you send an email, sign up for events, subscribe to newsletters etc. via www.grantthornton.dk/en/, you might be asked to enter personal data such as name, address, telephone number and email address. If you send your personal information to Grant Thornton Denmark, you approve its processing in accordance with this privacy policy.

We collect data about the website visitors (e.g. which pages are being visited) by using cookies. (See below.) This data will only be used in anonymised form; no individuals are identified.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.


Vacancies - job search

When looking for a job at Grant Thornton Denmark you must be aware that we, as data controller, register and collect information about you. Seminars & events

When you sign up for a seminar or an event at Grant Thornton Denmark, personal data such as name, company name and address, telephone number and email address will be registered. By signing up you approve that your personal data may be used to manage the event and that you will receive emails from us concerning the event (e.g. confirmation of registration, reminders and emails with slides from the event). All personal data recorded in connection with an event will be deleted not later than one month after the event is held.


Newsletter

Once you have subscribed to Grant Thornton’s newsletter (newsletter is only in danish), you agree to receiving marketing emails with publications, news and advice on e.g. tax, VAT, fees, audit and accounting, as well as receiving invitations to our current seminars & events.

Please note that we use MailChimp to send newsletters that register the following about you: Email address, language, location, which email client you use, preferred email format, whether the newsletter is opened, which of Grant Thornton's newsletters you have subscribed to, whether you press links in the newsletter as well as the date and time when you do this. If You subscribe to our newsletter you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

If you do not want this data to be registered, please do not sign up for our newsletter.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom in the email you receive from us or by contacting us at newsletter@dk.gt.com. Once you have unsubscribed from our newsletter, your personal data remains registered in MailChimp, but you will no longer receive newsletters from Grant Thornton. This is done in order to prevent unauthorised parties from signing you up for the newsletter after you have unsubscribed. Once you sign up for our newsletter, you agree that we can process your data in compliance with this policy.


Disclosure of your personal data

We may disclose your personal data to everyone who needs it in order to fulfil the requested order, even if they are located outside the European Economic Area.

We may disclose your personal data to other Grant Thornton member firms, or to our subcontractors. Some of these can be located outside the European Economic Area.

Unless otherwise specified above, we will not disclose your personal data unless we are required to do so by law, an authority decision or as needed in order for us to be able to operate our business (e.g. where we outsource services, or where others processes data for us). Your personal data will only be saved for as long it is considered necessary or for as long as we are required to store it by law (unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy).

You also have the possibility to visit Grant Thornton State-Authorised Accountants’ partner’s YouTube channel, GooglePlus profile and LinkedIn profile. In addition, you can use our website to visit our consultant's LinkedIn profiles.

LinkedIn, GooglePlus, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and Xing place cookies in your browser when you press the “Visit” or “Share” button to the individual social media. We would like to point out that if you do so, the social media in question will receive data about you and their cookies policy will start to apply. LinkedIn, GooglePlus, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and Xing all have their own cookies and privacy policy, which we do not have control over.
