Effective 1 July 2015, Paul Raleigh will serve as the Grant Thornton global leader for growth and advisory services. Raleigh, who has been a member of the Grant Thornton global leadership team since 2012, has most recently served as global leader for strategic development and growth, and as regional leader for Europe
“Paul has achieved great success at Grant Thornton and in his previous role as CEO at Grant Thornton Ireland,” said Ed Nusbaum, Grant Thornton global organisation CEO. “He brings a strong advisory background and is the ideal leader to help Grant Thornton clients unlock their potential for growth.”
Raleigh served as managing partner of Grant Thornton Ireland from 2003 until 2012.
The Grant Thornton global advisory practise has been led by Nigel Ruddock, who is retiring from Grant Thornton International Ltd. “Nigel has been a truly transformational leader of our advisory practice and in building capabilities in his regions and throughout our organisation. Nigel has overseen a 50% growth in advisory services during his leadership since 2010," said Nusbaum.
"I am excited to be taking the lead in the strategic development of growth and advisory services across our global organisation,” said Raleigh. “My aim is to build on Grant Thornton's strengths and support our member firms in winning work together globally. Our network has specialist advisory capability in over 130 countries."
