Thomas Hedegaard is a Director, Partner and State Authorised Public Accountant at Grant Thornton Denmark.
He has many years of experience within audit, tax and strategic business development, and primarily advises small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across sectors such as real estate, retail, manufacturing and the liberal professions.
As part of the executive management team, Thomas contributes to developing and strengthening Grant Thornton’s overall business and advisory capabilities. He combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial insight and is known for translating complex audit and tax matters into solutions that create real value for clients.
His competencies include financial reporting, accounting, audit, tax advisory, strategic business development, ownership transitions and succession planning, as well as mergers, acquisitions and the sale of companies.
Thomas joined Grant Thornton in 2023 as part of a major merger, in which he played a central role in establishing Grant Thornton in Jutland. Since then, he has been a driving force in developing the firm and strengthening its position as a trusted adviser to Danish businesses.
